I’m here today to tell you how to make the perfect smoothie. This is my breakfast most mornings and a way for me to get in a daily dose of fruit. Smoothies are great when you’re on the go, and I especially like hiding things in them I wouldn’t normally want to eat. Like Cod Liver Oil (helps with your mood in the winter months among other things) or extra fiber.
Ingredients:
1 banana
1/2 cup non-fat plain yogurt
1/4 cup orange juice
1 cup mixed berries (I use frozen blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries)
1 tablespoon of honey
Blend and serve - yum!
